ARTOLETTA was installed at « Nanakusa », a hand made lunch box shop abundantly packed with four seasons vegetables. It is a popular shop in our home town founded in 1993 saying nutrition balance comes first. ARTOLETTA was installed in the rest room (1/2 floor) with Total Design. The main theme was for the customers visiting Nanakusa to be healthy, fine and able to enjoy food. We designed the owner’s deep love to home town with thanks to colorful materials of food, and local connection delivering Tohoku’s charm to everybody. As our attempt for hospitarity and sustainability, we introduced water conservation, non-contact environment, automatic flush water without electricity ( hydroelectric power ) and created toilet space with the works of stand out artists handled by Heralbony Company in Iwate Pref. ( activity of handicapped people change the society ) for back wall and floor.
